My most used cameras nowadays are my Nikon FX D810 with my Nikon Nikkor AF-S Zoom Lens 28-300mm-F3.5-5.6
After the celluloid era my first digital camera I purchased was a Hybrid Minolta Camera second hand, with 6mb pixels, but after a year I wanted more for better, the choice for a new camera was to choose between a Nikon or Canon. My choice for a Nikon and not for a Canon has been just emotional. I do not think Nikon is worse or better than the Canon. I even never had a Canon camera in my hands when I made my choice for a Nikon camera, but once you’ve made a choice you do not change that soon for another camera, you stick with your first choice for the rest of your life.
At least that is what I do. Not that the Nikon camera’s I bought never had any trouble, No! I had to go to the Nikon service at least several times because of malfunctions of my Nikon. My first Nikon was the D300 and slowly It was upgraded to my current main camera the Nikon d810 full frame with the 28-300mm zoom VR both as one piece could be quite heavy which can be a disadvantage especially if you work as a photojournalist and have to wear it on your shoulder for hours. Now I also have a second camera for lighter work like street photography, the Sony A7A Mark II full frame with the 28-70 Zoom lens.
